A: Right now, we’re focused on the greater Los Angeles area - a city we know and love, and one we believe is truly ready for a more intentional approach to dating. While we may expand in the future, our priority is serving LA’s singles who are tired of surface-level swiping and ready for real connection. We’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to find something meaningful here, and we’re here to change that.

Q: Why is signing up for Kostur & Brown Matchmaking better than using a dating app?

Structure: Paying monthly for one date per month with no contract required offers clients the option to test out our services with no strings attached. Most of our competitors charge a lump sum up front, but we know that kind of investment doesn’t make sense for everyone.
Focused attention: All matches are thoughtfully curated by us, Vanessa and Ruby, not outsourced to assistants or computer algorithms. We invest time in truly understanding who you are and what you're looking for, treating your search with the same care we’d give a close friend.
Intentionally built for queer people: Our services are built for queer women and nonbinary people, not as an afterthought, but as a priority.

We’re both queer women who’ve lived in Los Angeles for over a decade. We launched this business because we saw how hard it was for our community to find meaningful connections, and we knew we could do better. Q: How do I become a matchmaking client?

A: We are thrilled to hear you might be interested in matchmaking! Your first step is to fill out our intake form. We will then schedule a free, no strings attached intake call with you where we will go over your goals, get to know you on a deeper level, and provide more detailed information on how our service will be customized to your needs.
